Synthesis with tritiated reagents

In addition to the previously mentioned labelling methods, tritium can be incorporated by coupling with labelled building blocks. Acetylations ([H-3]NaOAc), amidations ([H-3]methylamine or [H-3]ethylamine) and the coupling of ethyl fluoride groups are frequently used in this strategy.
